Long time no see, 好久不见


Forgive me; I gotta know,

How have you been lately? chasing that fantasy? If so, great for you, but I don't have a resilient stamina (well, mindset) and I am so, soooo quick to pick up & drop shop (is that a saying ?)

It's interesting to think about how in times of strife and little resource, where desperation is bred like fungi, we are stripped and skinned of our "morals" or "values". The truth is, the system we live in can set us up for success or failure, but the path also has the insecurity of a bridge over a cliff, tied with wood and string. You can walk downtown with two shoes with no problem, but the more you walk, the more damaged your shoes become and suddenly you step into a puddle that meets the soles of your feet, dampening your, once dry now squelching, socks. But if you walk less, you won't go where a younger you dreamed of going and it just seems so much closer than it was yesterday, the hope is a drug and the hustle is a gamble, lie down on a motel bed, lights off, blinds closed and wait for certainty because you won't fall for those posters, neon lights, billboards, relatives of friends of acquaintances, producers, not again.


My appetite grows.

 hey. 2 6 / 0 3 / 2 5  i'm in a weird place (when am i not?) well, I think I've decided when planning out the course of my life (meaning the next two years) and I know that I want and need to be happy, and I can't be happy if I'm chained to past misfortune and mistake. i wanna be free don't you? the truth is, although freedom is the end goal, there's some that will never be free because they're far too timid to try. I vowed since a small child that I will never end up like that. I know we don't know each other too well but promise me this; you will never plead for permission to live your life.
